The MOH Challenge is a fitness competition designed to educate LIU Post students on military history, tradition, and training in a fun, safe, and competitive environment. The event will feature the obstacle course competition, smaller satellite challenges, student club tables, food, and entertainment.
The fitness challenge is a head-‐to-‐head, timed obstacle course competition. Two person teams will have to complete the course with an over sized sandbag to emphasize the importance of teamwork. Each team will navigate obstacles representing the actions of a New York Medal of Honor recipient.
There will be a 100 team limit. 40-‐50 team slots reserved for “Greek Week” competitors with the remaining slots open to all LIU students and the local community.
Satellite Fitness Challenges
In addition to the obstacle course, there will be satellite fitness events. These events are designed to allow students and the outside community to participate in public service and military fitness events for individual prizes. This is an opportunity for all spectators to participate in the fitness related component if they choose to VSU will be asking for donations from local vendors to obtain prizes for these challenges.

The second annual LIU Veteran Summit will provide current and prospective veteran college students and students eligible for VA educational entitlements the opportunity to attend a one day conference that will assist in their continued professional and personal development.
